Background

I am currently working as a Research Scientist at the Watershed Research Group, University of Guelph, Canada. With 7 years of post-Ph.D. experience (5 as a postdoctoral researcher and 2 as a Research Scientist/Associate), I have utilized a variety of hydrological, and water resources management-based model for drought and flood assessment, and forecasting agriculture production. Additionally, I have experience with soil and water assessment tool (SWAT) and groundwater (Visual mudflow) model for evaluating the fate and transport of various conservative and non-conservative pollutants. My expertise extends to managing, manipulating, and visualizing large volumes of geospatial data like crop data, natural resources, water resources, and climate data using various geographic information system platforms such as ArcGIS, Python, and R programming language. I am proficient in developing and delivering tailored presentations, manuals, and reports based on user needs. As a dedicated, confident, easy-going, proactive, and motivated team player, I am eager for growth and keen on embracing new challenges. My background and skills align well with the goals of water quantity and quality research and management, particularly in areas such as irrigation, water resource management, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable agricultural practices. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to advancements in soil and water science and technology.
